This character building is heritage protected and suffered extensive damage during the Christchurch quakes, being unoccupiable since. The rundown interior needs refurbishing alongside the critical seismic strengthening.

We looked at new, innovative ways of strengthening the building whilst retaining the old heritage features. We have created a modern office space grounded by a key anchor tenant, with other smaller tenants throughout, effectively splitting the floor plate. Retail and food and beverage offerings will add atmosphere whilst making use of the view over the city, restoring the building and its significant historic importance.
